Kevin Alexander is the Senior Vice President of Sales at Blue Horizon. Prior to joining Blue Horizon, he was the Vice President of Sales for Haier America, a leading manufacturer of Appliances and Room Air Conditioners. At Haier, Mr. Alexander led the Wal-Mart team and was responsible for directing all sales, business planning, communications, product presentations, category management, forecasting and logistics for their Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club Business. He successfully grew their business by over 450% in the first 6 years. Prior to joining Haier America, Mr. Alexander spent 10 years (1996 to 2006) with Walmart Stores, most recently as the Vice President of Merchandising for the International division where he directed all Hardlines merchandise categories for the international markets. He managed a team of senior merchants to develop and assist in-country management in merchandise strategies, assortment planning, supplier negotiations, product presentation, pricing, inventory management, category management, direct imports and training. Mr. Alexander also has knowledge of Imports and Global Sourcing. He was involved in establishing the global sourcing division at Walmart, designing the strategic vision, mission, processes and procedures. Prior to joining Walmart he served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Strombecker Corporation. He also spent over 16 years as Category Manager and Import Coordinator for H.E. Butt Grocery Company and Winn's Stores.
